We are seeking a skilled Ceramics Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is crucial for our newly established ceramics department, which is currently in its nascent stage. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of ceramic expertise to the table, helping to guide our team through the intricacies of ceramic processes and instilling best practices as we grow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and assist with basic ceramic tasks, including molding, glazing, and firing.
- Provide expert guidance and training to the team in ceramic techniques and processes.
- Help in setting up and maintaining ceramic equipment and workspace.
- Collaborate with the team to enhance creativity and improve product quality.
- Implement best practices and standard operating procedures in the ceramics department.
Qualifications for Assembly Technician:
- Proven experience and expertise in ceramics, particularly in molding, glazing, and the operation of electric kilns.
- Strong understanding of various ceramic techniques and materials, with a focus on glazing methods and kiln management.
