Job Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Electrical Assembly Technician to join our team on a part-time basis, with the potential to transition into a full-time role. This position involves the assembly of electrical components and sub-assemblies to create high-quality lighting fixtures. While prior experience is a plus, it is not required, as on-the-job training will be provided. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, possesses excellent hand dexterity, and thrives in a fast-paced, detail-focused environment.
Responsibilities:
• Assembling and wiring electrical components into sub-assemblies and finished light fixtures.
• Following detailed instructions and diagrams to ensure accurate assembly.
• Inspecting and testing components to ensure functionality and quality.
• Managing and organizing assembly tools, materials, and workstations.
• Maintaining a clean and orderly workspace.
• Collaborating with the team to meet production timelines and quality standards.
Qualifications:
• Mechanical aptitude and strong hand-eye coordination.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to precision.
• Ability to follow instructions, learn quickly, and adapt to new processes.
• Previous experience with electrical assembly or similar work is a plus but not required.
• Comfortable working with small tools and delicate components.
Work Schedule:
Part-time, with flexible hours tailored to studio needs. Potential for a full-time role based on performance and studio requirements.
Compensation & Benefits:
• Compensation starts at $24/hour and up, depending on experience and expertise.
