ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN

Location: Glendale, California

Job Type: Part-Time (potential for full time)

 

 We are currently seeking a Part-Time Assembly Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be integral in maintaining the high-quality standards of our products through detailed and precise assembly work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble products and sub-assemblies accurately to fulfill work orders.
  • Adhere to standard building operations to ensure the production of high-quality products and sub-assemblies.
  • Package products thoughtfully, keeping customer satisfaction in mind.
  • Strive to maintain a consistent production build time across all product collections, with a deviation of no more than 15% from the planned time.
  • Promote and practice safe behavior, participate in 5S housekeeping activities, and engage in collaborative projects.
  • Utilize job instruction training methods where applicable.
  • Participate in problem-solving and the improvement of Kaizen activities.
  • Show initiative in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of your workplace and machinery.
  • Contribute to the team by sharing ideas and actively listening to your colleagues.
  • Assist in picking work orders for product specialists.

Qualifications for Assembly Technician:

  • Prior experience in assembly or a related field is highly preferred.
  • Must possess a strong attention to detail, ensuring precision in all tasks.
  • Excellent manual dexterity for handling small and intricate components.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • A strong commitment to adhering to safety protocols and maintaining high quality standards in work.
  • Proficiency in managing time effectively to meet deadlines and production goals.
  • Ability to identify and solve problems efficiently and creatively.
  • Basic understanding of the tools, equipment, and techniques used in assembly.
  • Capable of performing tasks that may require lifting, bending, standing for long periods, etc.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills for clear understanding and reporting of tasks.
