LEIT 11
The Leit Collection explores stepped geometry as an architectural language, using repetition and segmentation to articulate volume and depth. Each piece is composed through layered planes and horizontal seams, allowing structure and proportion to emerge through controlled variation.

THE ORIGIN OF LEIT
The Leit Collection is organized around the idea of segmentation — the deliberate division of volume into discrete, repeated planes. Rather than treating form as a continuous surface, Leit breaks mass into a sequence of stepped faces, creating a measured rhythm that wraps the object in depth and structure. This approach draws from architectural systems where repetition and offset are used to articulate scale and control perception.
Each piece in the collection is composed of stacked planar elements arranged in a consistent progression. Fine horizontal seams trace the perimeter, marking transitions between planes and reinforcing the object’s constructed logic. The stepped geometry introduces shadow lines and edge conditions that change with viewpoint, allowing the form to read differently as it is approached or passed.
Leit treats repetition as a tool for clarity rather than ornament. The segmentation is neither concealed nor emphasized beyond necessity; it exists to give structure to the volume and to establish a readable hierarchy across the surface. As scale shifts across the collection, the underlying logic remains constant, allowing individual fixtures to feel related without relying on identical proportions.
Across the series, Leit presents a controlled study in volume, division, and surface articulation. The collection operates as a system of forms defined by repeat and offset, where depth is generated through construction rather than curvature, and presence is established through restraint and precision.
